Our Sustainable Mill

All of the fabric for our clothes is produced at our plant in Long Beach, California.  We captured these images as a way to offer an inside look at how our clothing is made and the conditions under which it is produced. Here, you can see the operations of our mill and understand why we are one of the finest in the business when it comes to knitting, dying, and finishing our garments. All garments are then cut and sewn locally in Los Angeles. Accessories, such as hats and exercise equipment are manufactured abroad.

Our manufacturing uses strategies to cut consumption and lessen our carbon footprint, which is a key component of our business model. You can clearly see our dedication to a sustainable Mother Earth in everything we do, from the fiber and yarn suppliers we work with, to the chemicals and dyes we use, to using CFC overhead lighting, and the natural gas we use to power our finishing machines. Our Factory’s eco-friendly initiatives have allowed us to save 50% on water, 45% on natural gas, and 30% on chemicals. Furthermore, all of the chemicals that are used on our Ayla Athletica garments are non-toxic, water-soluble, and re-enter the public water system without destructing our environmental impact.

We pride ourselves on the working environment of our employees, most of whom have been working at our mill for more than 15 years. All of our employees are guaranteed a pristine, secure, and comfortable working environment.
